How the DevOneNote prototype handles notes.

In demo mode, format previews are created in your browser. The notes are not sent to an AI provider.

The current generator keeps your source text, output settings, and edited note in this page's memory, without automatically saving them. Copy or download anything you want to retain before leaving or reloading the page. Data saved by an older version remains in your browser; this version does not read, overwrite, or remove it.

When an operator explicitly enables AI, your source text and content presentation settings, including section headings and table columns, are sent to the configured AI provider. DevOneNote does not store source text, output settings, or notes on its server. The AI request disables response storage; the provider's own data policy still applies. Switching file formats or editing an existing note does not send another AI request.

Markdown previews do not load remote images or execute embedded HTML. HTML exports use a fixed template with escaped text and no scripts or external resources; their previews are sandboxed. Avoid entering credentials or other material you do not intend to share with a configured provider.

Analytics and advertising

When enabled, Google Analytics measures page visits and site usage. Google AdSense displays advertising. These services may receive information such as your IP address, browser and device details, page address, and referrer, and may use cookies or similar technologies. We do not add your source text, output settings, or notes to analytics events or advertising parameters.

When the cookie banner is shown, you can accept or reject optional cookies. Analytics storage starts as denied, although Google may receive consent-mode pings without analytics cookies. Advertising scripts load after you accept. Use Cookie Settings in the footer to change your saved choice. A new page load applies the saved choice to advertising scripts; copy or download your note before reloading.

Google may also show a consent message for advertising where required. You can manage those advertising choices in that message. See how Google uses information from sites that use its services, Google's privacy policy, and Google My Ad Center for more information and controls.
